This day was one for the books! I cant even explain to you how hot this day was! Torential downpour with a hint of tornado warning. Im talking, *rain that you can't even walk in without pain* kinda rain. The sky turned from day to night in a matter of seconds.
The storm cleared just in time for the beautiful outdoor ceremony at Fernwood Hills! A happy photographer exclaimed '"that wasn’t so bad, it rained for 30mins!?" *Bride yells from other room "50 minutes!!”
I was not only the photographer of the day but the Bride and Groom hitched a ride with me for photos. Bless them for putting up with my crazy driving! I was not going to allow a storm to prevent us from making it to the location where these two were engaged for some bridal portraits. We made it to Tree Lane farms where the sky was full of colour.
There must have been some sort of magic that day, everything fell into place beautifully, or maybe it was the magical Pnina Tornai gown that actually repelled mud!
There is usually something funny that happens to me during a shoot, I misplaced the the rubber band to my flash diffuser in the depths of my camera bag. For the rest of the reception, it crashed to the ground countless times. By the end of the night I had progressively fashioned hair elastics, strapped in all directions to keep that sucker on. I also left with a bug bite that left golf ball size swelling on my ankle (for a whole 4 days after)
I am beyond thankful that I was able to be there for this day! I felt like your flower girl, thank you for including me in special ways! I was brought to tears behind the camera this day, it was lovely! Everything was perfect and you could see all of the effort in every detail. This day was seriously meant to be and the stars aligned in every way!
